I ordered food for the family and only one sandwich and a bag of cookies arrived. The majority of the order didn’t turn up. You can’t call the food supplier direct and when you manage to get through to someone from Just Eat they are extremely unhelpful. All I wanted was the missing food so not a big ask. But no all they will do is refund the food price. Doesn’t matter I have starving children moaning at me. They refuse to refund the service and deliver charge and expect you to just pay again and take your chances a new order will come. Tried complaining via email and just get the same fob off. Just Eat do not deserve their customers! When I get my refund (which hasn’t appeared yet!!!!) I will be closing my account and deleting the app. Recommend you do to!
I would give less than one star if I was able to and will never use this service again I ordered a KFC for the family through Just Eat - all went well on the order and the website kept me informed of where the order was up until the delivery despite the Just Eat site saying your order has been delivered it never arrived and an hour later I was still waiting. The live chat was completely useless as well and when I said our food had not arrived all they said was oh dear I will escalate this and will get back to you within 48hours - when I said about my food they said they'd get back to me in a few days. When a refund finally arrived there was no apology just an email saying thanks for helping them to get better - awful service - avoid avoid avoid

Dont order from roadhouse stourbridge WARNING WARNING do not order from ere we ordered last Saturday me and family me and son ordered mixed meat grill wen food came looked ok so we hate bad mistake woke up next day felt like crap phoned me son he was the same cut story short ended up in hospital on drip 3 days food poisoning never again food in past bin ok PLEASE DON'T ORDER UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD TIME OF WORK
What can I say! This is the most fraudulent delivery company EVER!! I ordered from Taco Bell and when the order arrived there was no drinks so i raised a refund. I also called the restaurant who advised that not all restaurants actually offer the frozen drinks and that there was a glitch and they weren’t able to remove them from the menu and were doing it manually daily. Obviously this time it fell through the net and i was allowed to order but would not receive. I then got email from just eat to say no refund, i emailed back to explain what the restaurant had said and that i had paid for something i did not receive, they basically said ‘not our problem’. They were the ones who let me order and charged me for a non existent item so do not see how its not their problem! Customer service agent had no idea what he was talking about although he was nice and polite and clearly agreed it was unfair but kept referring to the “investigation” department. This is who was emailing me and all i can say is that person was thick and no matter how many times I highlighted that I had paid for an item that actually does not exist, he kept saying that they weren't responsible for the food quality! NEVER EVER AGAIN, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Most of the orders I place are usually complete, but sometimes things are missing or incorrect completely. Customer service isnt great, but isn't terrible either. I've managed to get refunds for 90% of the missing items. Much better than their rival food delivery companies. Staff have always been polite, and if orders are taking too long, i contact them after the estimated delivery time and they are most helpful.
I've ordered food using Just Eat several times. There hasn't been any real issues with the service itself, but the lack of any real customer service department makes me go elsewhere. I'm all about customer service. If you want my business, then you better have someone on hand if I have a problem or a question. This chat online rubbish doesn't suffice.
I've been reading about how people get shoddy orders or they order a gift card and never receive it, then Just Eat refuses to refund their money. The solution is simple. Use PayPal to pay. If something isn't right, open a case with PayPal and you'll get your money back. Just be sure to document everything. Example, take a pic of the bad food or mishandled delivery. Send screenshots of replies from the company. Upload all of this to PayPal if you have to open a case and you'll get your refund. Works 99% of the time.
Firstly they need to remove their automated customer service phone line. Its BULL@#$%.
SECONDLY they just have the worst customer service experience ever. You can't get past the automated service. WE NEED TO SPEAK TO REAL HUMANS robots can't sort out issues created by humans. I couldn't get through to speak about an order that was late by 1hour 45 mins. The takeaway decided to busy their phone lines and helpful JE were being just as hard to reach ridiculous service on both ends..
Just eat is bullying companies who is using their systems. It just unreal. When any restaurant are busy and cannot do certain orders. They rejects them all because there are WAY too many orders in that certain time-frame. What just eat does is they would send you text to threaten their companies they would reduce distance and time and some other things. Instead of solving it with their clients. They threaten them into submissions. Very very bad way to manage the companies who making them too much money. Companies has to pay around 30% of every order already and that's not including VAT.
I have used the app for a year and all ok until the day I didn't receive my order. I contacted them and they basically accused me of lying even though I have used them for ages. I never did get a refund for the food I never had and they couldn't have cared less.
Fed up of food being cold (especially McDonalds) or items missing, which yes its not Just eats fault for that but the fact that the refund goes into your Just eat account and not your bank account is wrong!.

The customer 48 hours automatic refund system is totally stupid! Hundred and Thousands restaurant will lot money because of your policy. You are not just eat. You are just chief. It's no fair to all restaurant owners, if we did see the email in 48 hours we will loss money our labour, cost and time are nothing! And you just eat! You loss nothing! You loss nothing and your policy help silly customer use you! It is not fair!
